The Social Innovation Fellows really made me think about the intersection of nongovernmental organizations, government, and the private sector. It opened my eyes to the idea that social impact ventures have the power to change a community and therefore better society. Since my time in the Social Innovation Fellows program, I have gained an interest in social entrepreneurship and decided to declare a minor in business entrepreneurship. I’ve also had the opportunity to participate in the Clinton Global Initiative University conference. There, I was able to talk with other students that are changing the world and gain insight on starting a business.
