Ambassador Voices- Nonprofit Minor Graduation

The Institute for Nonprofits has a wonderful time celebrating our Nonprofit Studies Minor graduates on May 6th. Institute Ambassador Kori Godwin has provided a recap of the event below:

NC State Institute for Nonprofits held our graduation celebration on May 6th, 2016 for our 22 graduates in our Nonprofit Studies Minor. The celebration was lively and enjoyable, and we had wonderful food thanks to Catering by Design. Our speaker was Jason Dragos, the founder and CEO for HealthBeMe. Jason is a NC State Alumni who is doing great things in the community with his healthcare based organization called HealthBeMe. Jason spoke to us about finding purpose and the importance of having a purpose, and shared about his personal journey with HealthBeMe. Our graduates were then called, received their diplomas, and many sweet thanks were given for family members, professors, and for the entire department.
