Kristin Caddick selected for JKHF Fellowship Program
Kristin Caddick, one of this years Ashoka Exchange participants, has been selected for the 2017 Jamie Kirk Hahn Foundation Fellowship! Kristin will spend her summer working with the Food Systems team to complete a project focusing on early childhood development and food systems and the intersections that exist within each issue.
The Jamie Kirk Hahn Foundation was created in honor of Jamie Kirk Hahn, an inspiring young woman who dedicated her life to investing in others. The JKHF Fellowship summer program began in 2015 and now claims two classes and nine emerging leaders. The program seeks emerging changemakers and leaders who are looking to work on North Carolina’s most pressing issues.
Kristin is excited to learn from those who were close to Jamie and to carry out her legacy in the triangle community. She is looking forward to gaining insight on how she can turn her passion into a career by bringing environmental education into the lives of youth across North Carolina. The JKHF Fellowship will be a major asset to Kristin’s innovative mentality. Congratulations, Kristin!
